The collection consists of four unique designs which all are handcrafted in Northern India. For this collection, Studio Proba uses only handpicked materials such as Bamboo silk, New Zealand wool, and silver and gold yarn.  The collection is a very special one for Studio Proba. For the first time they are limiting their use of color and are instead infusing the elegant pallete with the texture and brilliance of gold and silver yarn. The black and colored backgrounds play with dimension and are mnade out of two different materials (New Zealabd wool and Bmboo silk) and have a varying pile height. Founded in 2013 by Alex Proba, Studio Proba is a New York–based multidisciplinary design studio focusing on product, graphic, environmental, and furniture design and artwork. Alex is a multidisciplinary designer and art director from Germany. She studied spatial and graphic design at the Akademie Mode und Design Hamburg, and product and furniture design at Design Academy Eindhoven.
